Shades of Green

This is September, and the month offers its own fresh start to many things. Here in India, it is the beginning of festivities and celebrations for the next few coming weeks. These are the days of showers too, and it is truly refreshing & soothing to see the plants and trees after every brief shower. The moist leaves give us an impression that they are happy and smiling and breathing a 'Thank You' for the fresh green look. I love the colour green and as we all know it is one of Mother Natures primary colours. The green stem is honoured and credited to hold every flower of different colours. That's awesome. Inspiration comes from every where and the colour green inspired me to do a scape, with the green touch. Coffee in the Bedroom

The bedroom, the place where we spend one-third of our life, is a special place indeed and it holds all the beautiful possibilities that we wake up to early in the morning. Enjoying coffee in bed along with reading the newspaper is something one looks forward to & it is a wonderful feeling after a hard days work too. Like many I love the smell and taste of coffee made from a Peculator, and it is also easy and quick to prepare coffee with. Having coffee in bed, along with breakfast on a Sunday morning makes you feel fresh, something that every heart would wish for. Presenting a coffee scape from my bedroom on an early Sunday morning & enjoy your cuppa. Please do visit Cusine Kathleen Please do visit A Delightsome LIfe

Potluck: A Summer Table Decor ...

Potlucks are here for us as blessing in disguise and are fun when everyone gets into the act of carrying one dish to a pot luck gathering.  One can make a potluck tablescape interesting by using contrasting cheerful colors of the summer & by ensuring that the entire ware along with other things on the table blend together as a unit - Like the mix of the varied menu.  Speaking of Pot luck dinners, lunch or high tea - They can be arranged among a large group or a small intimate group with a menu left to chance or planned, whilst being formal & sophisticated or casual too. It is customary for the host to provide the main dish while the guests bring complimentary dishes to round out the menu. By making a relaxing moment for yourself and others with less work & stress, one can enjoy a nice meal with a functional table decor, knitting the guests together, when everyone gets in to the act of serving and sharing. Hope your next gathering will be a Potluck Party...
