Tea For You And Me....:):)

Hi  everyone..... It's been a day of mixed weather here, with bright sun shine, strong winds and over cast skies in the evening, thus bringing a down pour & having you to take your umbrella too with you. There is always reason or inspiration for creating something & that inspiration might come to you from  big or small. I was inspired to do this tea scape while collecting the tiny fallen dry twigs which where blown by the strong wind. I was always fascinated by these small tiny dry twigs & the time came to collect them and spray them with gold paint and arranging them on a black base looked great. This scape turned out to look good along with  home bloomed lilies. Thank you for coming over and hope you like it ......... :):) Please Visit Cuisine Kathleen Please Visit The Style Sisters Please Visit Between Naps On The Porch    Please Visit The Tablescaper Please Visit Colour...

My Kitchen Tale...:):)

Hello there! Happy to be back & meet y'all after a little gap. The hot, humid weather over here has finally came to an end with a heavy downpour wetting the dry land and energizing it. I'd like to start this session of blogging with the topic 'Kitchen'. Well ... the kitchen though less spoken about, is in fact one of the most important places in a home. What does a kitchen really mean to a woman?? Not only is it the place where delicious food prepared, it is the one spot where you kick start and end each day of your life. Every woman would love to have a dream kitchen and I am no exception to it. When redesigning our kitchen a few years ago I was determined to have a modern, elegant and easy to care kitchen. It was at a time when darker versions of the kitchen were not so popular. I had a lot of ideas and inspiration in mind, but I finally decided to adopt a grey palette to adorn my kitchen. It was quite the experience for me to develop my ideas and enjoyed eve...

A COLD COMFORT SCAPE

Summer has arrived with a bang and it's unbearable as the mercury soars up / The heat literally drives a person crazy .It's time for everyone to keep the heat at bay & to stay cool by refreshing oneself with soothing S orbets, chilled F ruit J uices , I ced T ea and C offee, B uttermilk L assi or C old S oups . An added bonus to a harried humid day is by creating a ideal cool off nook table scape with fresh flowers, fruits & cold drinks in tall glasses. T he setting can be fun and chill and transform a hot chaotic summer day into a comforting calm day.                      I used a beautiful white shell as a vase and arranging it with home grown cherry tomatoes and pink flowers.
