LightBlue/Pink Table for the Season:)))

Light blue and light pink always a welcoming combination during summer and as i haven't done much of summer tables this season, this table is for the blog post with blue/pink for the season. The table spread inspired me to do this table. The floral print with blue and pink soothing and matches the elements on the table. Few pink and white table rose blooms from the garden added charm to the pretty blue glass vase.

Happy Father's Day with a cake:)

Hi there...Hope all are enjoying summer time in their part of world & hope everyone had a wonderful Father's day celebration. It was a quiet affair here, me making a simple, easy, quick mango cake for the special and memorable day.

Sharing the cake recipe here for you to try. Just scroll down for the recipe:)

Ingredients:

One big sweet mango -Peeled and chopped

Sugar- 1/2 cup

Semolina- 1 and 1/2 cup

Refined oil- 1/2 cup

Milk- 3/4 cup

Baking powder- 1 and 1/2 teaspoon

Chopped nuts- Few

How to make :

Peel and chop the mango. Make it to pulp along with sugar in the mixer. Grind the semolina to fine powder. Transfer the powdered semolina to the bowl. Add the oil and the mango pulp to the bowl and mix well. Add 1/2 cup milk and stir it well and make into smooth batter. Keep the batter aside for 30 minutes. Take a 6 inch cake tin grease and dust it with flour. After 30 minutes add the baking powder and 1/4 cup milk and stir well. Do not over mix. Spread the batter to the cake tin and tap it evenly. Arrange chopped nuts on top of the batter.  Pre heat the oven for 5 minutes. Place the tin in the oven and bake it for 35-40 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius. Let it cool down completely before de- molding. With a knife loosen the side and remove from the cake tin.

Tip: Instead of refined oil butter or melted ghee can be used to the batter. One cup semolina and half cup plain flour could be used.

Yellow Touch Evening Teascape:)))

These are the quiet days of the pandemic. As there is nothing to do much outside with the lock  down still on the cards the moments at home uninteresting sometime. Season Spring has come & gone and our hot summer days are coming to an end and looking forward for some shower to cool the earth. It's been two weeks since I have uploaded a post at CG.

I love the cozy spot on our enclosed balcony in the morning and evening times for the natural light entering and illuminating the entire space. It is a chill - out spot for me these days with sink in cushions and with some greenery around. Decided to do a teas cape for the blog post by pulling out sun flower print plates/cups for an evening space with yellow touch summer palette. The fresh summer flowers from the garden a pleasure always to add to your styling of any sort. The weather outside is gloomy while clicking and hoping for a slight drizzle.
