Celebrating the Season:)

In a few days from now, it will be the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter or the 'darker half ' of the year.

It will be a season of votive candles, mirrors, pumpkins and colors like Black, Orange and Indigo to dominate the scene. A wonderful season to take a walk in a natural area and to collect natural things for your home decor. Creating a decor at your home with acorns, bell peppers, gourds and pumpkins gives a seasonal look to your setting. It's a season of renewal and transformation too. Each season has it's uniqueness and nature offers it's best to human kind and we should learn to celebrate each season with what nature offers to us.

Creating a setting with the seasonal touch made the table look pretty. Thank you for your visit...:))

  1. What gorgeous colors you have used against the gorgeous black plates. I love how you mix flowers, leaves, and food together. The fruit and vegetables with the flowers leaves. Breathtaking! You lovely carved leaf plates are a wonderful accent. Love your touch of whimsy with the little bear. As I have said before you have the most wonderful candles. Enjoy this wonderful table as it is so very beautiful. Until next time. Your friend, Valerie

Shades of Green

This is September, and the month offers its own fresh start to many things. Here in India, it is the beginning of festivities and celebrations for the next few coming weeks. These are the days of showers too, and it is truly refreshing & soothing to see the plants and trees after every brief shower. The moist leaves give us an impression that they are happy and smiling and breathing a 'Thank You' for the fresh green look. I love the colour green and as we all know it is one of Mother Natures primary colours. The green stem is honoured and credited to hold every flower of different colours. That's awesome. Inspiration comes from every where and the colour green inspired me to do a scape, with the green touch. I collected the green ware from the racks and putting it together as a teascape was pleasing to the eyes like the happy greenery around us. Sometimes it is wonderful to have tea and treat ourselves amongst a small collection of green plants. M...

Sage Green Spring Table:)))

Hi there....Hope all are enjoying the season Spring. Beautiful to add touches of Spring colours to the decor. A table I created with the palette of  Sage Green table cloth and I defiantly feel the colour is for natural touch. Also pairing them with other soft hues brings sophistication with whatever you are working with. The droopy Plumeria flowers in a rustic green container added charm with the flickering candles for a relaxed time.   Please visit Our Hopeful Home Please visit Nap on the porch
