Women & Flowers:)))

Hi there everyone. .....i am here almost after three months time gap. Missed my blogging and missed others blog post too. Well happy to be back for the Spring season. Spring is about new beginning and a new beginning  for crystal grandeur as well. The chillness here slipping away and warmth catching up. In the garden too new flowering buds are appearing and it's going be colourful blooms all around soon. Awaiting the sight. We are in March and in two days time and it's going be international women's day (8th March). Thought of doing a table setting for the blog post and for our day with flowers.

Talk about woman... woman hood abilities en composes a blend of emotional intelligence, resilience, nurturing and allowing her to play many roles to her capacity. There are hundreds of women around the world as role models to get inspired. Every woman in her own special.

The flowers are symbol of femininity. From Shakespeare to William Wordsworth they used flowers to represent femininity for the qualities of beauty, grace, and life giving potential. Celebrating everything from external elegance to deep rooted inner strength. How beautiful woman hood one can think of.

Here is a table  with flowers. Did a female sketch on the paper and set fresh flowers on the gowns and placed them on the plates for the special day. In case giving a lunch/dinner to your  mother, sister, daughter, aunts and niece & friends one can pick up this idea and they will appreciate your table styling.

Tip: Draw the sketch place loose petals or tiny flowers as gowns.

200th post at Crystal Grandeur!

This is my 200th post at Crystal Grandeur!  As a profound blogger it is a moment of joy for me as well.   It has been a wonderful journey all along.  Crystal Grandeur blossomed in November 2011 with Diwali & Christmas decors and it is my small world where my imagination and creations comes to reality.  I admire some of the blogs crossing 400+ posts. I appreciate and thank them for influencing others to do the same.  Speaking of my love for decors and styling I enjoy exploring different aesthetics and incorporate them in my decors and tablescapes. It helps me to keep moving forward  with new and fresh ideas  and doesn't let me be stagnant to one particular style.    For a nostalgia kick i share with you all... my delightful moments at Crystal Grandeur. Receiving appreciation for your creation in the form of comments always touches ones heart. (Sharing some of my past posts sweet comments posted by dear readers from across...

Festive Give Away:)))

Season Fall is to arrive soon and the season has its own charm in providing us with plenty of seasonal specials. Oranges are best during Fall and they last from beginning of Fall to end of Winter. In our garden plenty of Calamondin oranges started to appear and the fresh smell of the citrus in the air so soothing.  Plucked few of them and made marmalade from the ripen oranges for the morning toast. Also a good idea to make marmalade when the oranges are plenty, fill them in cute little bottles, tie with a ribbon/card and gift it when there is a Fall party or for Thanks giving & festive occasions. Its easy and quick to make and my way of preparing the recipe is given right here.  Cut the calamondin orange to half, remove the pulp and the skin separately. While removing the pulp take away the seeds. Squeeze out the juice from the pulp using a thin cloth . Cut the skin to thin stripes.  Put a heavy bottom pan on the stove and keep on low flame. (For one glass of ju...
