Dressing up your Bedroom:))

Hello there... Hope everyone had a relaxed week-end. We are at end of Jan and the days are slowly strolling towards season Spring. Though our Jan is mild winter here, due to climatic change we had lot of rains this time which was unusual. At times we had gloomy sky with chillness in air. One would like to pull out a duvet/quilt during such time to enjoy the warmth. Created a bed room decor scene with a recent buy pink duvet with floral prints and a teas cap with pink carnation flowers to match the bedding.

Regardless of size & style the bed room is the place where you begin and end each day. Bring in the comfort to your sleep space by adding pretty quilt, pile of  pillows/cushions, soothing flowers, striking trinkets, accessories to match  totally in tune with you and your personality as well waking up  and can dream of returning to the space after a busy day. It's your bed so dress up in your way. Pink is the colour for V-day as well, so can think of giving a pinkish touch to your bedroom decor.

Winding up with this post my seasonal floral segment which i created for the blog & for everyone to enjoy and to get inspired.

Shades of Green

This is September, and the month offers its own fresh start to many things. Here in India, it is the beginning of festivities and celebrations for the next few coming weeks. These are the days of showers too, and it is truly refreshing & soothing to see the plants and trees after every brief shower. The moist leaves give us an impression that they are happy and smiling and breathing a 'Thank You' for the fresh green look. I love the colour green and as we all know it is one of Mother Natures primary colours. The green stem is honoured and credited to hold every flower of different colours. That's awesome. Inspiration comes from every where and the colour green inspired me to do a scape, with the green touch. I collected the green ware from the racks and putting it together as a teascape was pleasing to the eyes like the happy greenery around us. Sometimes it is wonderful to have tea and treat ourselves amongst a small collection of green plants. M

Falling in Love with Fall

Learning is always the best thing to do in life. To learn all about fall and the things associated with this time of year was informative and enjoyable. Fall can be romantic and poetic with the change of colours & with the first frost and falling leaves. The season is all about the display of colors in nature & about fruits like Plump Pumpkins, Red Berries, Nuts, Ornamental Gourds, Rosy Pomegranates, along with Apples, Pears, decorative coloured cabbage & pretty-frilled leaves. Other things include welcoming wreaths, sturdy baskets, potpourri, wooden trugs, pottery bowls jugs, pitchers & terracotta pots.Copper and brass add charm to the season. Colours most used in Fall include burnt orange, green, golds, browns, reds, pinks, rich mauves and so on. I have given a finishing touch to this corner with the elements of Fall and it looked beautiful.                                      Thank you for your visit:):)
