Christmas Day look of our Home:))

Hi there....In few hours it is going to be 2023 & wishing everyone a wonderful New Year. Hope everyone had a very merry Christmas celebration. It was a quiet Christmas day here as all of a sudden we had heavy down pour on Christmas eve. That did't dampen the spirit of the celebration and everyone had their own X'mas day celebration. I always love to surround myself with Christmas decors during this time of the year to bring the festive season to life.

Sharing here my Christmas day look of our home. I call this years decors minimalist as i used lot of fresh greenaries than ornaments. My Christmas tree too adored only with string of small lights around & a red bow on the top. Table setting was with the golden touch. Created the door wreath with fresh leaves straight from the tree. For the first time i used string of lights as i could't avoid them in the market.They looked pretty with colourful blinks in different shapes and sizes-es for the Christmas sale and picked few of them.

This is my 200th post at Crystal Grandeur! As a profound blogger it is a moment of joy for me as well. It has been a wonderful journey all along. Crystal Grandeur blossomed in November 2011 with Diwali & Christmas decors and it is my small world where my imagination and creations comes to reality. Spring with younger hope than ever ....

It is wonderful to see the beautiful spring table posts in everyone's blogs. It's a delight to see the soothing greens, the pretty pinks, the cheerful yellow flowers dominate the sce nes , with cute bunnies hopping around.. :):) I have created a tea scape here with beautiful mini cups & a little g reen touch added to show spring is here to say hello to us .. T hese beautiful cups and saucers were a gift from my long time friend Padmini with whom I have shared fun and laughter through the years. Friendship's a fantastic feeling when you share it with fantastic friends. T here are also so many beautiful friends I found in blog land too and I am thankful to each and everyone for their love. Festive Give Away:)))

Season Fall is to arrive soon and the season has its own charm in providing us with plenty of seasonal specials. Oranges are best during Fall and they last from beginning of Fall to end of Winter. In our garden plenty of Calamondin oranges started to appear and the fresh smell of the citrus in the air so soothing. Plucked few of them and made marmalade from the ripen oranges for the morning toast. Also a good idea to make marmalade when the oranges are plenty, fill them in cute little bottles,tie with a ribbon/card and gift it when there is a Fall party or for Thanks giving & festive occasions. Its easy and quick to make and my way of preparing the recipe is given right here. Cut the calamondin orange to half, remove the pulp and the skin separately. While removing the pulp take away the seeds. Squeeze out the juice from the pulp using a thin cloth . Cut the skin to thin stripes. Put a heavy bottom pan on the stove and keep on low flame.
