Home made candle for Christmas:)))

Hi ...how have you been this week. Was raining a lot for us here this week. Enjoyed the weather plus meeting up with school friends and savouring deli sh lunch with them in a restaurant. It was total fun.

Right now the gist is about Christmas and i celebrate Christmas in my own way by making time for the things that makes the heart to twinkle.

Last year at CG( crystal grandeur blog) there were quiet a bit of projects for Christmas on tables-caps, on wrapping gifts, creative wreaths, recipes, coffee table decors, etc. This year opted to do home made candles with unused ashtray glass wears. Making candles are always fun and a worth while project to get involved. Wonderful idea for gifting as well for the occasion. Making candles are easy and simple these days as materials are easily available in the market.

Made a square glass candle using refined paraffin granule wax,   lemon grass oil and spices like the anise seed, cloves and cinnamon sticks.

A  table decor in our bay area with strawberry's and wine  with bottle brush white Christmas trees along with the candle looked charming.

How about spending your holiday evening in a bay area or on the porch with lit scented candles spreading the fragrance?Your gathering could be just for two or for more but it would leave a lasting memory for you.

Diwali With Lights

The word Deepavali stems from the Sanskrit words, Deepa meaning ‘Light’ and Avali meaning ‘Row’. It means a row of lights and illumination is undoubtedly its main attraction. Deepavali, the festival of lights, even to this day, projects the rich and glorious past of our country and teaches us to uphold the true values of life.    THE FLICKERING LIGHT OF A FLAME IS TRULY MAGICAL. Shades of Green

This is September, and the month offers its own fresh start to many things. Here in India, it is the beginning of festivities and celebrations for the next few coming weeks. These are the days of showers too, and it is truly refreshing & soothing to see the plants and trees after every brief shower. The moist leaves give us an impression that they are happy and smiling and breathing a 'Thank You' for the fresh green look. I love the colour green and as we all know it is one of Mother Natures primary colours. The green stem is honoured and credited to hold every flower of different colours. That's awesome. Inspiration comes from every where and the colour green inspired me to do a scape, with the green touch. I collected the green ware from the racks and putting it together as a teascape was pleasing to the eyes like the happy greenery around us. Sometimes it is wonderful to have tea and treat ourselves amongst a small collection of green plants. M
