Bookmarks craft with water colour florals

Bookmark crafts (DIY) are fun project for elders as well to youngsters and kids. I loved making them with hand painted water colour flowers. It's a unique and perfect gift for readers in the family or to friends and to neighbours. Perfect gift for mother's day/father's day or for birthdays. In your leisure making bookmark is a wonderful time spending act by painting flowers, fruits, foliage, veggies or things you wound love to paint. Tying colourful ribbon, bead string or tassel adds charm to the hand made book marks. All that you need is a thick drawing sheet , water colours, ribbons, bead string or tassel. You can laminate them and hang them in cupboard knobs, tie them on sleek flower vase or on kitchen shelves knob which makes them beautiful and loved.

200th post at Crystal Grandeur!

This is my 200th post at Crystal Grandeur! As a profound blogger it is a moment of joy for me as well. It has been a wonderful journey all along. Crystal Grandeur blossomed in November 2011 with Diwali & Christmas decors and it is my small world where my imagination and creations comes to reality. I admire some of the blogs crossing 400+ posts. I appreciate and thank them for influencing others to do the same. Spring with younger hope than ever ....

It is wonderful to see the beautiful spring table posts in everyone's blogs. It's a delight to see the soothing greens, the pretty pinks, the cheerful yellow flowers dominate the sce nes , with cute bunnies hopping around.. :):) I have created a tea scape here with beautiful mini cups & a little g reen touch added to show spring is here to say hello to us .. T hese beautiful cups and saucers were a gift from my long time friend Padmini with whom I have shared fun and laughter through the years. Festive Give Away:)))

Season Fall is to arrive soon and the season has its own charm in providing us with plenty of seasonal specials. Oranges are best during Fall and they last from beginning of Fall to end of Winter. In our garden plenty of Calamondin oranges started to appear and the fresh smell of the citrus in the air so soothing. Plucked few of them and made marmalade from the ripen oranges for the morning toast. Also a good idea to make marmalade when the oranges are plenty, fill them in cute little bottles,tie with a ribbon/card and gift it when there is a Fall party or for Thanks giving & festive occasions. Its easy and quick to make and my way of preparing the recipe is given right here. Cut the calamondin orange to half, remove the pulp and the skin separately. While removing the pulp take away the seeds. Squeeze out the juice from the pulp using a thin cloth . Cut the skin to thin stripes. Put a heavy bottom pan on the stove and keep on low flame.
