Dressing up your Bedroom:))

Hello there... Hope everyone had a relaxed week-end. We are at end of Jan and the days are slowly strolling towards season Spring. Though our Jan is mild winter here, due to climatic change we had lot of rains this time which was unusual. At times we had gloomy sky with chillness in air. One would like to pull out a duvet/quilt during such time to enjoy the warmth. Created a bed room decor scene with a recent buy pink duvet with floral prints and a teas cap with pink carnation flowers to match the bedding.  Regardless of size & style the bed room is the place where you begin and end each day. Bring in the comfort to your sleep space by adding pretty quilt, pile of  pillows/cushions, soothing flowers, striking trinkets, accessories to match  totally in tune with you and your personality as well waking up  and can dream of returning to the space after a busy day. It's your bed so dress up in your way. Pink is the colour for V-day as well, so can think of givi...

An Evening Garden Setting:)

In the floral episodes at the blog today, sharing a setting with golden shower/purging cassia or Indian laburnum flowers. The flowers are wonderful to look when they are in full bloom during the season. Native to our region a small tree, in our garden came out with beautiful strings of yellow flowers and never missed the opportunity to set an evening diningscape beside it. It's always delightful to capture moments during deepening twilight. The candles & champagne sets the mood for an relaxed evening.  V-day arriving soon and one can get inspired  for a romantic theme with pretty blooms:)   Please visit Nap on the porch Please visit french Enthreal  Please visit pink Saturday blog  Please  visit our hopeful home

Soup for a chilly Jan afternoon:)))

As jan is a month for some of it's beautiful flowers and as well i have been sharing posts with flowers of the season along with table-settings. The other day it was wonderful to drive down along the coast and out of city to meet a friend. Our out of city drive was after a long gap and enjoyed the sea side drive and the greenery along. It was wonderful to see the country side... the colorful wild blooms along the muddy roads, lily ponds, the smell of the fresh eucalyptus and the sound of chirping birds returning to their nests, buzzing of the bees, the golden sun set behind the paddy fields all were so refreshing. On the way back we stopped to pick cluster of flowers which i fell in love for its texture and tiny purple flower. Picked few stems to do a post for the floral string at CG. As i learnt about the plant it is full of medicinal value and the fresh leaves of the plant can be used as wicks to light lamps in oil. I wondered how beautiful nature could be.  The jan chilly...

Roses in a Kettle:)

In floral arrangement row at the blog today's post with roses. It's beautiful to arrange flowers at home and usually i manage to have them around most of the time. For occasions and festivities having flowers, a must, and visit local market to get them. It's lovely to see early in the morning before sun raise the local flower market is flooded with all sorts of flowers. Wading through the flowers, just ineffable. Rose everybody's favorite and who could resist them. It's wonderful to see them in bud to full bloom whether in the plant or in the container.  Here is an evening setting with light pink roses in a kettle which opened it's petals beautifully to it's fullest. Rose is a rose and who can turn down it's beauty.    Please visit Stroll thru life Please visit our hopeful home  Please visit nap on the porch
