V-Day Edition:)

We love V-day and we love it even more when we do up a table in a glam way for the day. Here is a table I set for the day to go down in the list of V-day table settings at CG.      Please visit Nap On the Porch Please visit Pink Saturday

Chinese New Year At CG:)

Chinese New Year was celebrated on 5th of Feb. It is year of the Pig in the Chinese calendar. A tiny table was set to welcome the New year at CG with a little pig, dragon, a tassel and a Chinese teapot. 'Happy New Year' to all those who welcomed it with pomp and fair. Chic White Table:)

I cannot believe we are on the last day of January. The month has flown so fast. Exactly two more weeks for Valentine's day.     Before all the reds and pinks could arrive in blog front, did a chic yet casual white table setting for this week with knotted napkins.     The seasonal foliage from the garden and some glass jars from the kitchen used as a vase and candle holders for the center gave a chic look.  Please visit Nap on the porch Please visit pink saturday Please visit Rustic and refined

Teascape with Indian Flag hues:)

India celebrates it's 70th Republic Day on 26th January 2019. To show the spirit, here is a teas cape with hues of our National flag Saffron, White and  Green. Each color on the flag represents something different. Saffron or Orange represents courage and sacrifice. White represents peace, unity and truth. Green stands for faith and fertility. The Navy Blue Ashoka Chakra or wheel in the middle with 24 spokes indicates real victory of honesty and justice.
