It is often said that nature awakens in spring. Signs of spring have come into sight, although autumn still lingers a bit. We have drawn a promise, from the morning breeze of spring, blowing by making the flowers to bloom and rouse the garden from its sleep. The smell of fresh blossoms, the tender green leaves and the colorful butterflies are all here to say that spring has arrived.
Lately, I have been obsessed with tablescapes. If I were to pick a color to represent spring, it would be green because its associated with nature. The color green is a source of inspiration to many things and I felt a tablescape with green setting would be appropriate for the season. It does not take too much to get your center piece together. All I had to do was, get some fresh oranges with its branches, which the next door gardener decided to get rid of, while redoing the garden. I also decided to choose from my collection, some plates and ice cream cups which had flower prints to go with the theme. And now, here I have yet another table setting for the season......
YOUR COMMENTS ARE WELCOME, WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU ALL.

ReplyDelete... love the oranges :)
Greetings from Australia♥
Thank you so much :)
DeleteI'm glad the other ladies identified the beautiful fruits in your centerpiece as oranges. As a lifelong Midwesterner, I just wasn't sure if they were oranges or lemons or persimmons...I've just never seen them in person long enough to remember what they look like on the branch! They make a stunning centerpiece! Their variegated colors are perfect with your placemat and dish selections! Very, very nice!!!
ReplyDeleteI like the oranges centerpiece and I like how you added the candlelit pictures! Great job!
