SUMMER EXPRESSIONS

Choosing and using unusual containers is a matter of personal taste. I used cake tins as striking planters to help create a stylish metal-piece display with cacti of different varieties. Taking a look at everyday objects, like cake tins and tin cans, gives you ideas for indoor house plant arrangements. Experimenting sometimes, with old or discarded items, can give a new lease of life to them, as unusual plant containers. Here I grouped our cacti collection by filling the cake tin top with coloured pebbles & used other matching metallic finish objects, to make the table top attractive, thus creating a good summer display.   http://romantichome.blogspot.in/2012/05/show-and-tell-friday_10.html
