Third Blog Anniversary At Crystal Grandeur:):)

Hello dear friends, my readers and followers of this blog..

I am happy to say that this November, I completed three years in blog land. When I started I never thought I would take blogging seriously and go this long. I am happy to have done 120 posts and to have 51 followers with  total of 89569 page views  so far.  It's lovely to see 600 to 800 page views everyday on my blog from around the world.

Regarding my photography - Photography was never an interest of mine. It started with my blogging and I am pleased with the response from people who appreciate my shots.

I just want to say a massive thanks to all my blog friends, readers, family and blog followers for encouraging my creative process at Crystal Grandeur. I couldn't have done it without the love and support and I truly appreciate and thank all the wonderful people who took the time to leave comments on my posts.

Again, I take a moment to thank Marty for featuring Crystal Grandeur seven times on her prestigious blog Stroll thru life and Alycia (such a talented blogger and inspiration to many) of Tables capes at Table Twenty One for mentioning Crystal Grandeur.

It's a honour and it is always wonderful to take part in link parties at blogs like Between Nap on the Porch, Cuisine Kathleen, Style Sisters and Ivy and Elephants to mention a few.

In this Thanks Giving season I once again thank everyone  for the continuous support, encouragement and for dropping their valuable  comments.

Diwali With Lights

The word Deepavali stems from the Sanskrit words, Deepa meaning ‘Light’ and Avali meaning ‘Row’. It means a row of lights and illumination is undoubtedly its main attraction. Deepavali, the festival of lights, even to this day, projects the rich and glorious past of our country and teaches us to uphold the true values of life.    THE FLICKERING LIGHT OF A FLAME IS TRULY MAGICAL. Shades of Green

This is September, and the month offers its own fresh start to many things. Here in India, it is the beginning of festivities and celebrations for the next few coming weeks. These are the days of showers too, and it is truly refreshing & soothing to see the plants and trees after every brief shower. The moist leaves give us an impression that they are happy and smiling and breathing a 'Thank You' for the fresh green look. I love the colour green and as we all know it is one of Mother Natures primary colours. The green stem is honoured and credited to hold every flower of different colours. That's awesome. Inspiration comes from every where and the colour green inspired me to do a scape, with the green touch. I collected the green ware from the racks and putting it together as a teascape was pleasing to the eyes like the happy greenery around us. Sometimes it is wonderful to have tea and treat ourselves amongst a small collection of green plants. M
