My Wish Table:):)

Our Birthday to us means it's "our day" along with the greetings, gifts and best wishes that we receive from our near and dear ones...... and also the little things that we like do on this day which gives us a lot of happiness too.

Everyone has their favorite things that they'd like to do in life along with unfulfilled wishes too. I  have a few wishes and think I can fulfill them sometime. Expressing these wishes through a table scape was fun and new. I created my wish table on my birthday (20th Jan) and it gave a special touch to my birth day along with the other memorable things.

A Fragrance is one of the few art forms that can remain totally silent but can create a major impact and have the ability to evoke a memory or emotion without speaking a word. A Perfume can say thousand things. I wish that one day I could create my own signature scent by mixing my favorite fragrance mixers at the worlds perfume capital....France. To show this, I have placed cute little perfume bottles on the table.

Apples and orange gardens are natures beauty and  there is one word that describes the feeling of being amid a lush green garden is Paradise. Visiting a apple or an orange garden could be a heart throbbing, spectacular and memorable visit ever. I wish I could visit a apple garden in Kashmir and a orange garden in the city of Nagpur in India one day.

Who wouldn't love flowers? Flowers are symbol of joy and harmony. My wish is to visit the Tulip garden (Holland)  when it is in full bloom and the valley of flowers in Himalayas.

Taj Mahal is jewel in India's architectural diadem. A labour of love she is dazzling at noon, warm and glowing at dusk, soft and ethereal in the moon light like the varying moods of a beautiful woman. It's a object of world's admiration and symbol of India. Visiting Taj Mahal on a moon lit night would be romantic and I wish to visit Taj on a full moon night all by myself. Hope my wishes comes true...:):)

200th post at Crystal Grandeur!

This is my 200th post at Crystal Grandeur!  As a profound blogger it is a moment of joy for me as well.   It has been a wonderful journey all along.  Crystal Grandeur blossomed in November 2011 with Diwali & Christmas decors and it is my small world where my imagination and creations comes to reality.  I admire some of the blogs crossing 400+ posts. I appreciate and thank them for influencing others to do the same.  Speaking of my love for decors and styling I enjoy exploring different aesthetics and incorporate them in my decors and tablescapes. It helps me to keep moving forward  with new and fresh ideas  and doesn't let me be stagnant to one particular style.    For a nostalgia kick i share with you all... my delightful moments at Crystal Grandeur. Receiving appreciation for your creation in the form of comments always touches ones heart. (Sharing some of my past posts sweet comments posted by dear readers from across...

Festive Give Away:)))

Season Fall is to arrive soon and the season has its own charm in providing us with plenty of seasonal specials. Oranges are best during Fall and they last from beginning of Fall to end of Winter. In our garden plenty of Calamondin oranges started to appear and the fresh smell of the citrus in the air so soothing.  Plucked few of them and made marmalade from the ripen oranges for the morning toast. Also a good idea to make marmalade when the oranges are plenty, fill them in cute little bottles, tie with a ribbon/card and gift it when there is a Fall party or for Thanks giving & festive occasions. Its easy and quick to make and my way of preparing the recipe is given right here.  Cut the calamondin orange to half, remove the pulp and the skin separately. While removing the pulp take away the seeds. Squeeze out the juice from the pulp using a thin cloth . Cut the skin to thin stripes.  Put a heavy bottom pan on the stove and keep on low flame. (For one glass of ju...
