Late December  has always been a time for celebrations. The holidays are filled with reunions of family and friends. For occasions like this table settings along with beautiful center piece decorations  play an important part   . The season too like no other season  provides  citrus fruits  Oranges, shiny Tangerines and other fruits like Apples, Grapes,figs, strawberries etc. During this season there is excitement in the air and  many have in their mind how do I present my table in a fresh and impressive way.It is not always possible to go for expensive shop bought decorations. A table arrangement with fruits and flowers along with China wares for a holiday entertainment  is most welcoming. Wipe Chennai's Tears.

 Dear blog friends and visitors of  this post.... you may be aware that our city of  "Chennai " and  Tamil Nadu  State   in Southern India had heavy to very heavy rains for the past one month. The pictures and video clippings I have posted below speaks in volume of the prevailing catastrophic condition of Chennai city and surrounding areas. Due to lashing of  rain and subsequent flash floods,have caused  unprecedented  heavy damage and loss of lives. People have lost their near and dear ones, homes and belongings. The stray city animals in particular the dogs, cats and cattle have also not been spared.  The Government of India, the State Government , voluntary organizations and individual groups are working hard and pooling all the available resources to bring the city back to normalcy and to extend all possible help to the victims who lost everything due to Mother Natures fury...
