A Fall Table :)))


It's  nice  to connect with you all once again this week with a Fall table for two from my little corner. Hope all of you are enjoying the refreshing Autumn with all your favorite things to do. In two days  it's Diwali for us. A lot has been done, still there's little more to go. The weather is changing and the air is rife with festivity. There is noise of crackers outside and in every house hold people are busy preparing their favorite sweets & dishes. So there is much more to share in my next post about the Diwali celebration at our home. Meanwhile setting this Fall table with fruits combining  white wars looked pretty. I filled the hobnailed vase with the dried branches from our garden which i eyed at the last minute before it could go in the bin.

    We have these lovely persimmons in the grocery and I got one for my son and he didn't like it. They are really very sweet when ripe and I would love to bake something with them. Thank you for sharing at Home Sweet Home!

Shades of Green

This is September, and the month offers its own fresh start to many things. Here in India, it is the beginning of festivities and celebrations for the next few coming weeks. These are the days of showers too, and it is truly refreshing & soothing to see the plants and trees after every brief shower. The moist leaves give us an impression that they are happy and smiling and breathing a 'Thank You' for the fresh green look. I love the colour green and as we all know it is one of Mother Natures primary colours. The green stem is honoured and credited to hold every flower of different colours. That's awesome. Inspiration comes from every where and the colour green inspired me to do a scape, with the green touch. I collected the green ware from the racks and putting it together as a teascape was pleasing to the eyes like the happy greenery around us.
