Holiday entertaining table:)

When it come to holidays and to invite people home, all any of us really want is to show them how much we love them by entertaining, gifting and by creating a beautiful soothing ambiance that they love perfectly. In the same spirit of warmth and generosity, setting a center piece for the table with autumnal foliage, seasonal fruits and blossoms for your guests would be welcoming and a spot to admire.

I wanted to bring in the Falls changing colors to the tables centerpiece and doing so with natures largesse- the pale bushy evergreens, Chinese oranges arranged on a wooden tray, the chefs, rolled sphere napkins with blue wares on a white base looked pretty. It looks as though the happy chefs are standing there to serve you with their preparation. There is thick hot creamy spinach soup in the bowl to enjoy the season.

Spring with younger hope than ever ....

It is wonderful to see the beautiful spring table posts in everyone's blogs. It's a delight to see the soothing greens, the pretty pinks, the cheerful yellow flowers dominate the sce nes , with cute bunnies hopping around.. :):) I have created a tea scape here with beautiful mini cups & a little g reen touch added to show spring is here to say hello to us .. T hese beautiful cups and saucers were a gift from my long time friend Padmini with whom I have shared fun and laughter through the years. 200th post at Crystal Grandeur!

This is my 200th post at Crystal Grandeur! As a profound blogger it is a moment of joy for me as well. It has been a wonderful journey all along. Crystal Grandeur blossomed in November 2011 with Diwali & Christmas decors and it is my small world where my imagination and creations comes to reality. I admire some of the blogs crossing 400+ posts. I appreciate and thank them for influencing others to do the same. Speaking of my love for decors and styling I enjoy exploring different aesthetics and incorporate them in my decors and tablescapes. It helps me to keep moving forward with new and fresh ideas and doesn't let me be stagnant to one particular style. Summer table with Lilies:))

A few drops of rain, a few whiffs of breeze could make a garden bloom. How true are these lines. Last weeks a sudden down pour saw a grand parade of yellow and white lilies blooming in our garden. Lilies are summer favorites. Although this particular variety stay bloomed for shorter time arranging them in a bowl for this weeks table scape looked striking. Everyone knows wherever a few lilies stand they can still draw all eyes. For the table I used a hand painted floral motif linen which is with me for almost seventeen years. I was happy to use it for the first time and it looked good on the table. While I loved creating this table at the same time felt quite bad to see the flowers dangling next day.
