A coastal charm Chritsmas Holiday Table:)

The stage is set to ring in 2018. And now that the year is on it's verge I feel certain newness and freshness in the air. It's been a full year for me with lot more things happening behind the screen...new things, different things, good things and bad things. But that doesn't make it bad because lots of lessons learn t and I've come out stronger more tolerant and lot more prepared for anything and everything. I believe in what ever happens, it happens for good and be grateful to God for being by your side .

So, while you host a party and raise a toast to all you hold dear, I'll send my silent prayer for a healthier, happier and more prosperous 2018 to all my dear & near ones. Wishing everyone to have a super New Year!

Presenting here a table setting all about coastal charm. The fact that people living near the beach or coast have the influence of the sea by adding sea elements to the decor during seasons or celebration. Creating a coastal ambience by setting a holiday table in a corner with chillness still in air & with sea elements was fun and made the corner to look festive.

A wrap note: We don't consider it a gift if your heart isn't in it.  So, if you are simply doing it for the sake of it, don't. Gifting and receiving the gift is all about the feelings. The equation is same in taking and in giving. A gift with heart full of love, warms the heart of the giver and the receiver. The gift can be simple but it can be very special too. You can personalize your little treat with a beautiful wrap, ribbon or accent piece like tiny shells, figurines, flowers foliage etc. This Christmas season I received this cute duck as a gift from my niece Meenakishi with all her love wrapped around it.

  3. I love everything about this table....
    The white dishes..
    The fish bowl...
The twig from the pine tree reminding Christmas season..
    The candle with shells..
The sentiment behind displaying Meena's gift which is perched on top of LIFE magazine..
The best bit for me is the 'Wrap Note'.

    Your ideas are so refreshing.
    Thanks for your prayers...
Wishing you a peaceful Prosperous Healthier 2018 and looking forward to seeing more spreads on your blog.
    Happy Blogging

Shades of Green

This is September, and the month offers its own fresh start to many things. Here in India, it is the beginning of festivities and celebrations for the next few coming weeks. These are the days of showers too, and it is truly refreshing & soothing to see the plants and trees after every brief shower. The moist leaves give us an impression that they are happy and smiling and breathing a 'Thank You' for the fresh green look. I love the colour green and as we all know it is one of Mother Natures primary colours. The green stem is honoured and credited to hold every flower of different colours. That's awesome. Inspiration comes from every where and the colour green inspired me to do a scape, with the green touch. I collected the green ware from the racks and putting it together as a teascape was pleasing to the eyes like the happy greenery around us. Sometimes it is wonderful to have tea and treat ourselves amongst a small collection of green plants. M...

Coffee in the Bedroom

The bedroom, the place where we spend one-third of our life, is a special place indeed and it holds all the beautiful possibilities that we wake up to early in the morning. Enjoying coffee in bed along with reading the newspaper is something one looks forward to & it is a wonderful feeling after a hard days work too. Like many I love the smell and taste of coffee made from a Peculator, and it is also easy and quick to prepare coffee with. Having coffee in bed, along with breakfast on a Sunday morning makes you feel fresh, something that every heart would wish for. Presenting a coffee scape from my bedroom on an early Sunday morning & enjoy your cuppa. Please do visit Cusine Kathleen Please do visit A Delightsome LIfe
