Alluring (Valentine's day) Purple Table:))

Hello dear all....Before I could talk about this week's table, I have few questions for you about home truths on Valentine's day. With the count down to the V-day already ticking answering these questions could be fun and keep the spirit alive for the hearts day.

Here we go......
1. What's your favorite color for  Valentines day tables cape?
2. What's your much loved recipe for 'two of us' moment?
3. Favorite love quote for V-day?
4. A memorable gift from your better-half ?
5. Most memorable travel you won't forget?
6. Favorite romantic movie/ romantic scene you ever liked?

Favorite romantic film of mine......My all time favorite romantic movie would be 'Roman Holiday' the movie with bitter-sweet ending. Favorite scene would be where Audrey Hepburn tells Gregory Peck 'Shall we dance'. In the scene by then they have formed a strong attachment and also for the first time they show their feeling towards each other while dancing.

So take on these questions to answer while you have some smiling moments for yourself. If you find time, do drop your answers on the comment box. Thanks:)))

Well this week's table color combo is Purple & Pink relating to 2018s Pan-tone color the Ultra Violet. Also a reason to bring this alluring color to the table is to celebrate my Birth Day this week. These two pretty shades are feminine, goes hand in hand  and sure to rid those winter blues. Purple can be matched with Lavender Pink, Silver, Gold, Light Orange & Green, White.

  3. Thanks for sharing all this purple. I love your teakettle. I usually decorate in pinks for V-Day because I like to use an inherited set of china that has pink roses on it and put our wedding cake topper on the table. I may try something more vibrant this year.

  4. Wow! I’ve not seen another purple and pink combo yet this year, so you are the trendsetter!!! Very pretty with the combination of deep and paler tones. And that purple tea kettle!!!! I’ve never seen one like it! My niece is a purple lover...that would be a great gift for her since she loves tea! Thank you for the idea!
OK, my favorite romantic color is my favorite color of all time: PINK!!! My favorite meal for a romantic date is filet mignon or a bleu cheese-topped ribeye steak. My favorite love quote is by Fanny Lewald and was calligraphed on a huge wall in my conference room when I was a professional wedding planner: “In the consciousness of belonging together, in the sense of constancy, resides the sanctity, the beauty of matrimony, which helps us to endure pain more easily, to enjoy happiness doubly, and to give rise to the fullest and finest development of our nature.” The most memorable gift from my husband was a Tiffany necklace for my 50th birthday. The most memorable travel: trips we made to Tijuana, Mexico back in the early 90s. We brought back bottles and bottles of tequila! And, finally, my favorite romantic movie: The Notebook. I LOVE that movie!!!! I don’t think I’ve ever seen “Roman Hioliday”. While I’m still recuperating I will try to find it on Netflix. Thank you for the fun game! Have a Happy Valentine’s Day!

Diwali With Lights

The word Deepavali stems from the Sanskrit words, Deepa meaning ‘Light’ and Avali meaning ‘Row’. It means a row of lights and illumination is undoubtedly its main attraction. Deepavali, the festival of lights, even to this day, projects the rich and glorious past of our country and teaches us to uphold the true values of life.    THE FLICKERING LIGHT OF A FLAME IS TRULY MAGICAL. Shades of Green

This is September, and the month offers its own fresh start to many things. Here in India, it is the beginning of festivities and celebrations for the next few coming weeks. These are the days of showers too, and it is truly refreshing & soothing to see the plants and trees after every brief shower. The moist leaves give us an impression that they are happy and smiling and breathing a 'Thank You' for the fresh green look. I love the colour green and as we all know it is one of Mother Natures primary colours. The green stem is honoured and credited to hold every flower of different colours. That's awesome. Inspiration comes from every where and the colour green inspired me to do a scape, with the green touch. I collected the green ware from the racks and putting it together as a teascape was pleasing to the eyes like the happy greenery around us. Sometimes it is wonderful to have tea and treat ourselves amongst a small collection of green plants. M
