Colorful 'Thanks Giving Table'

Our festival....Diwali the festival of lights was celebrated last week with family & friends with lot of fun fair. The festival as- usual left a lasting memory of sweet moments being with close ones and with the joyous feeling of decorating home sweet home & preparing mouth watering sweets & dishes.  Beside expressing this I grab the opportunity to say a few words at this time of the year with a tables cape.

It's November and thanks giving month as well. I am happy to say this and my thanks too.... this is my 7th year in blog- sphere. It is during the Fall season I started my blog Crystal Grandeur. Days just keep moving and truly a wonderful feeling to be blogging still. A big thank you to all the many near&dear ones in blog sphere for stopping by to like and to leave  comments at CG. It encouraged & encourages my weekly dose of table styling non stop over the years. Once again thank you all.

I am certain you are all enjoying the color bursts of  the season with warm colors of red, orange, pink, yellow, blue, purple and magenta . Lovely to be amidst the beautiful colors of nature where ever you are while you take a stroll  or while you drive.

Bringing natures color and natures bounty from the garden to the table is fun for a celebration like Thanks Giving. Creating a table with seasonal fruits and veggies sometime can play a crucial part in a well designed 'Thanks Giving' center piece.  I have used Fall colors and home grown fruits including the Pineapple with a rustic touch here to bring in the mood for a holiday festivity.

'Wishing everyone a Fabulous & colorful ' Thanks Giving Day'

Shades of Green

This is September, and the month offers its own fresh start to many things. Here in India, it is the beginning of festivities and celebrations for the next few coming weeks. These are the days of showers too, and it is truly refreshing & soothing to see the plants and trees after every brief shower. The moist leaves give us an impression that they are happy and smiling and breathing a 'Thank You' for the fresh green look. I love the colour green and as we all know it is one of Mother Natures primary colours. The green stem is honoured and credited to hold every flower of different colours. That's awesome. Inspiration comes from every where and the colour green inspired me to do a scape, with the green touch. I collected the green ware from the racks and putting it together as a teascape was pleasing to the eyes like the happy greenery around us. Sometimes it is wonderful to have tea and treat ourselves amongst a small collection of green plants. M...

Coffee in the Bedroom

The bedroom, the place where we spend one-third of our life, is a special place indeed and it holds all the beautiful possibilities that we wake up to early in the morning. Enjoying coffee in bed along with reading the newspaper is something one looks forward to & it is a wonderful feeling after a hard days work too. Like many I love the smell and taste of coffee made from a Peculator, and it is also easy and quick to prepare coffee with. Having coffee in bed, along with breakfast on a Sunday morning makes you feel fresh, something that every heart would wish for. Presenting a coffee scape from my bedroom on an early Sunday morning & enjoy your cuppa. Please do visit Cusine Kathleen Please do visit A Delightsome LIfe
