A visit to Hallstatt (Austria)

It was a beautiful...beautiful day to be in Hallstatt last month. I have only read and seen in you tube channels about Hallstatt but to physically present and to enjoy the beauty of the place totally a different level. A tourist spot much spoken about in Austria and visited by millions all the year round. The lake with pristine water  the Alpine mountain range the church,16th century wooden houses the hanging colourful flowers with contrast on the windows the swans and the ducks in the lake and the ferry ride and the steep rope car ride to the top most point of Hallstatt say it all. A walk around the village seeing the early Christmas shops was truly a enjoyable one.Hallstatt is famous for salt mines which existed centuries ago.

A dream come true for us by train from Graz . The Two and a half  train journey which wadded through the alpine mountains, corn fields, grass land, the farms the streams and the river.... it's an experience to people who love nature.

Sharing few clicks from Hallstatt here for the visitors to enjoy the beauty of the place.

Shades of Green

This is September, and the month offers its own fresh start to many things. Here in India, it is the beginning of festivities and celebrations for the next few coming weeks. These are the days of showers too, and it is truly refreshing & soothing to see the plants and trees after every brief shower. The moist leaves give us an impression that they are happy and smiling and breathing a 'Thank You' for the fresh green look. I love the colour green and as we all know it is one of Mother Natures primary colours. The green stem is honoured and credited to hold every flower of different colours. That's awesome. Inspiration comes from every where and the colour green inspired me to do a scape, with the green touch. I collected the green ware from the racks and putting it together as a teascape was pleasing to the eyes like the happy greenery around us. Sometimes it is wonderful to have tea and treat ourselves amongst a small collection of green plants. M...

Coffee in the Bedroom

The bedroom, the place where we spend one-third of our life, is a special place indeed and it holds all the beautiful possibilities that we wake up to early in the morning. Enjoying coffee in bed along with reading the newspaper is something one looks forward to & it is a wonderful feeling after a hard days work too. Like many I love the smell and taste of coffee made from a Peculator, and it is also easy and quick to prepare coffee with. Having coffee in bed, along with breakfast on a Sunday morning makes you feel fresh, something that every heart would wish for. Presenting a coffee scape from my bedroom on an early Sunday morning & enjoy your cuppa. Please do visit Cusine Kathleen Please do visit A Delightsome LIfe
