Welcome 2015 :):)

Hello dear friends.....It's wonderful to see, in our blog land, the colourful photos of Christmas and heart warming merry little stories of celebrating Christmas with family and friends gathered around the Christmas tree at their homes. Truly, the celebration of Christmas and New year's eve, lifts our spirits, where ever we may be in this beautiful world.

And just in few hours another year comes to an end and it's time for us to bid good bye to 2014. As a blogger, I am happy and satisfied to have done 55 posts in 2014. It's a year of creativity and mixed emotions and I am thankful to Almighty.

Lets  welcome the New Year in grand manner,  may 2015 usher in peace, luck, cheer and joy for everyone.

As we close the year , everyone knows... a quiet refined dinner at home is ideal because home is one place in this world that we can truly make our own.

Setting a white table for the New Year was very exciting for me as I used the silver rimmed porcelain and transparent glass plates. The white carnation flowers looked beautiful in the middle as a center piece.  Boot shaped sherry glasses along with the vinegar and oil cruets looked pretty along with other things on 2015 New year table.
Happy New Year to all :)

I agree with the ladies. You really created your table with a glam.

I love you mix the strawberry and that flashed the white ambiance. It gave the perfect contrast and that make a big difference.

Hope you had a wonderful NY too.

Wishing you all the best of 2015.

    Hugs,

200th post at Crystal Grandeur!

This is my 200th post at Crystal Grandeur!  As a profound blogger it is a moment of joy for me as well.   It has been a wonderful journey all along.  Crystal Grandeur blossomed in November 2011 with Diwali & Christmas decors and it is my small world where my imagination and creations comes to reality.  I admire some of the blogs crossing 400+ posts. I appreciate and thank them for influencing others to do the same.  Speaking of my love for decors and styling I enjoy exploring different aesthetics and incorporate them in my decors and tablescapes. It helps me to keep moving forward  with new and fresh ideas  and doesn't let me be stagnant to one particular style.    For a nostalgia kick i share with you all... my delightful moments at Crystal Grandeur. Receiving appreciation for your creation in the form of comments always touches ones heart. (Sharing some of my past posts sweet comments posted by dear readers from across...

Festive Give Away:)))

Season Fall is to arrive soon and the season has its own charm in providing us with plenty of seasonal specials. Oranges are best during Fall and they last from beginning of Fall to end of Winter. In our garden plenty of Calamondin oranges started to appear and the fresh smell of the citrus in the air so soothing.  Plucked few of them and made marmalade from the ripen oranges for the morning toast. Also a good idea to make marmalade when the oranges are plenty, fill them in cute little bottles, tie with a ribbon/card and gift it when there is a Fall party or for Thanks giving & festive occasions. Its easy and quick to make and my way of preparing the recipe is given right here.  Cut the calamondin orange to half, remove the pulp and the skin separately. While removing the pulp take away the seeds. Squeeze out the juice from the pulp using a thin cloth . Cut the skin to thin stripes.  Put a heavy bottom pan on the stove and keep on low flame. (For one glass of ju...
