Gifting ideas for the Holiday season:))

Hi & Hello....As Thanks giving and Christmas celebrations are on the cards it's little tough to decide about gift giving. Shop bought gifts are always routine and some time expensive as well. Sharing in today's post about  budget friendly ideas you can think of like scented wax tablets , and candles made at home all by yourself.

Unused bottles in the kitchen cabinet and tiny bottles are perfect fit to make candles using old candles. I had collected old tiny jam bottles and it became handy to make candles. Melted the old candles filled them in the bottles with wicks adding the fragrance oil like lavender and rose. Decorated the bottles with pretty ribbons and they looked so pretty.Candle making is always fun and a perfect gift for any season or festivities and everyone loves the gift.

Like candles, wax tablets another best gift for gifting. It is made with wax liquid poured in silicon moulds. Decorate them with spices like cloves, star anise, cinnamon , dry orange ridge or dried flowers. Handcrafted wax tablets infused with delightful floral essence of vanilla, lavender or mint, sure to scent the spaces like wardrobes, bathrooms, drawers, car and shoe racks.. Indulge in making these aromatic wonders which is easy and simple. Wrap them up as you desire like in butter paper ,small pouches or in boxes. It's a fun project for the festive season.

Hope you like my gifting ideas for the season. This my first try with wax tablets and i enjoyed making them. You too will enjoy in making them and in gifting. This holiday season at CG, I will be sharing budget friendly /cost conscious project ideas one can enjoy. So be tuned in for the coming weeks.

200th post at Crystal Grandeur!

This is my 200th post at Crystal Grandeur!  As a profound blogger it is a moment of joy for me as well.   It has been a wonderful journey all along.  Crystal Grandeur blossomed in November 2011 with Diwali & Christmas decors and it is my small world where my imagination and creations comes to reality.  I admire some of the blogs crossing 400+ posts. I appreciate and thank them for influencing others to do the same.  Speaking of my love for decors and styling I enjoy exploring different aesthetics and incorporate them in my decors and tablescapes. It helps me to keep moving forward  with new and fresh ideas  and doesn't let me be stagnant to one particular style.    For a nostalgia kick i share with you all... my delightful moments at Crystal Grandeur. Receiving appreciation for your creation in the form of comments always touches ones heart. (Sharing some of my past posts sweet comments posted by dear readers from across...

Shades of Green

This is September, and the month offers its own fresh start to many things. Here in India, it is the beginning of festivities and celebrations for the next few coming weeks. These are the days of showers too, and it is truly refreshing & soothing to see the plants and trees after every brief shower. The moist leaves give us an impression that they are happy and smiling and breathing a 'Thank You' for the fresh green look. I love the colour green and as we all know it is one of Mother Natures primary colours. The green stem is honoured and credited to hold every flower of different colours. That's awesome. Inspiration comes from every where and the colour green inspired me to do a scape, with the green touch. I collected the green ware from the racks and putting it together as a teascape was pleasing to the eyes like the happy greenery around us. Sometimes it is wonderful to have tea and treat ourselves amongst a small collection of green plants. M...
