Happy St Patrick's Day :):):)

Hi and hello....2015 is the third year in row to do a St Patrick's day table at Crystal Grandeur. It's always a nice feeling to bring in the plants and green table wears to set a table. I created a scape for two by placing few Jade plants as center piece . Grouping of plants looked fresh on the table and also according to Fengshui Jade plants considered  to bring luck. It was fun placing a cute little green doll with a bib to give a whimsical look. 

Hearty wishes to all those who celebrate St Patrick's day. Have lots  of fun and laughter. Once again happy to be part of  Cuisine Kathleen s challenge this year:)

    I love your Saint Patrick's Day tablescape. The pretty shades of green in the dinnerware and the warmth of the candle light create a wonderful setting. Your grouping of the jade plants adds so much interest and texture to this table setting and the wee little doll dressed in green and wearing her bib as if she were waiting for the corned beef and cabbage to be served is precious.     Oh sweet friend Sujatha; takes you to make such a wonderful table with such flair and with the perfect elements, such as the greenery you used as a centerpiece and the lovely green china. I love the embroidery in your table topper too.
    What a shame you didn't join Kathleen at her SPD blog crawl she hostesses every year.

    Your pertty and lucky green plants are lovely as a centerpiece. The soft green china is pretty paced on the green hued linens. have a great week!

Shades of Green

This is September, and the month offers its own fresh start to many things. Here in India, it is the beginning of festivities and celebrations for the next few coming weeks. These are the days of showers too, and it is truly refreshing & soothing to see the plants and trees after every brief shower. Spring with younger hope than ever ....

It is wonderful to see the beautiful spring table posts in everyone's blogs. It's a delight to see the soothing greens, the pretty pinks, the cheerful yellow flowers dominate the sce nes , with cute bunnies hopping around.. :):) I have created a tea scape here with beautiful mini cups & a little g reen touch added to show spring is here to say hello to us .. T hese beautiful cups and saucers were a gift from my long time friend Padmini with whom I have shared fun and laughter through the years. Coffee in the Bedroom

The bedroom, the place where we spend one-third of our life, is a special place indeed and it holds all the beautiful possibilities that we wake up to early in the morning. Enjoying coffee in bed along with reading the newspaper is something one looks forward to & it is a wonderful feeling after a hard days work too. Like many I love the smell and taste of coffee made from a Peculator, and it is also easy and quick to prepare coffee with. Having coffee in bed, along with breakfast on a Sunday morning makes you feel fresh, something that every heart would wish for.
