5th Blog Anniversary with a Teascape

Hello dear readers....Happy to say that my blog Crystal grandeur entering it's sixth year in blog land. Five years later as a blogger i feel my journey through the blog land is an incredible one. Like experiencing the beauty & colors of  natures changing seasons(Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter) Crystal grandeur too saw the imprints of the seasons along with the celebrations and festive uniqueness through tables capes, decors etc. Blog land is truly a space for creative interactions, inspirations and also a phenomenal way to connect with the rest of the world.

I express my warm thanks to everyone during this wonderful season of thanks giving for always being there cheering me up with feed backs, encouragement, suggestions and for their eternal love. I love them all. It's unthinkable that i have uploaded  192 my very own  creations. It would't be possible without your support.

Of late I see many bloggers are becoming inactive. I feel every busy woman should take a few minutes of her day to be just the way they were once in blogging and keep that same spirit alive. The beautiful creations and stories from bloggers are always refreshing, entertaining and in my words i put, it celebrates magical women spirit.

The year 2016 is drawing to a close. Of-course it's Christmas time too and the Christmas decors in living room, bed room, kitchen and in every little corners of your home sure to bring smile to your lips and warm your heart. Happy Christmas Decorating to everyone.

  3. You are so right, Sujatha! Blogging does keep a certain "spirit" alive. I guess it must be the sharing of something creative and personal. Congratulations and many thanks for the lovely tables over the years.

  4. You are right. But sometimes bloggers also get burnout. Not every blogger is as generous as you with your positive atitude. I come across so many bloggers who simply blog about them and never visit any other blog or share their posts. Even on their social media, it's all about them. I have always felt that's it's about all of us as a team and I always try and share some of the posts I come across with others. I have felt kind f defeated at some link parties too where you don't get even a thank you comment and I linked up for two years an not once could I get an acknowledgement that the host read my blog post. So I can see both sides, and I try to stay away from the ones who seem to just want to be famous and not actually talk to the people reading their stuff. That has helped me a lot!

Diwali With Lights

The word Deepavali stems from the Sanskrit words, Deepa meaning ‘Light’ and Avali meaning ‘Row’. It means a row of lights and illumination is undoubtedly its main attraction. Deepavali, the festival of lights, even to this day, projects the rich and glorious past of our country and teaches us to uphold the true values of life.    THE FLICKERING LIGHT OF A FLAME IS TRULY MAGICAL. A Wedding to Remember.:)))

When two souls, which have sought each other for however long in the throng, have finally found each other, when they have seen that they are matched, in a word they are alike, compatible and established a union for ever between them. A union illuminated & pure for ever and ever.. This union is love, true love filled with full of sweetest delights & compassion. My second son Capt Siddharth and sweet Saumya tied the knot on 16th Feb. The wedding was a grand event with both the families coming together to bless the wonderful couple. Sharing few photos of the wedding in the blog- post today with rest of you all.:)))   Please visit Nap on the porch

Shades of Green

This is September, and the month offers its own fresh start to many things. Here in India, it is the beginning of festivities and celebrations for the next few coming weeks. These are the days of showers too, and it is truly refreshing & soothing to see the plants and trees after every brief shower. The moist leaves give us an impression that they are happy and smiling and breathing a 'Thank You' for the fresh green look. I love the colour green and as we all know it is one of Mother Natures primary colours. The green stem is honoured and credited to hold every flower of different colours. That's awesome. Inspiration comes from every where and the colour green inspired me to do a scape, with the green touch. I collected the green ware from the racks and putting it together as a teascape was pleasing to the eyes like the happy greenery around us. Sometimes it is wonderful to have tea and treat ourselves amongst a small collection of green plants. M
