Cool Summer Palette:))

This is my second Blue table this season and the Palette is all about coolness & re freshness for a sultry day. The mix of Blue candles and faux Rose buds makes the center piece for an evening table styling. I have used dark Blue square cushion covers in triangular in shape as place mats. The oriental print china bowls just fits in to the setting and a new addition to my collection. Lighting the candles after sun set gave a serene look. Enjoy your Summer time with cool Blues. A Setting Under The Sun:))

As the weather being warm and humid here, yesterday's sudden change of a moody sky and the cool sea breeze made me to do an out door setting in the garden. I loved creating this setting near a group of plants & Bonsai trees on the terrace. The red themed setting with red colored light- weight leak proof carry boxes, cane baskets, checkered spread, red checked napkins, fruits and fruit juices gave an picnic look. Sometime little touches like adding a lantern and lighting a candle inside against the dropping sunlight sets a mood & ambience.    Picnic is always associated with fun, joy ride, eating under the sky near a beach, river bank or on a grass filled area with family and friends. Going for a picnic sometime spur-of-the-moment decision.  Organizing a picnic with children quiet a job for elders. However clear thinking, careful planning allow you & the rest to enjoy a beautiful day out in the sun. Arranging for a picni...

A Cherry nice drink :)

How about turning the coffee table into cocktail, mock-tail table this season? Entertaining guests over a mixed fruit punch with other food pairings on a warm afternoon or on a bright evening is fun in total. Presentation is key to great mock-tail crowd whether it is inside or outside your home. I turned the coffee table to a mock- tail table with home made drink prepared by home grown cherries & Chinese oranges. An irresistible combination  with easy preparation, bringing little taste of that holiday feeling to the glass.  Sweet Cherries: 1 Cup Small Chinese oranges with skin: 4 or 5 Sugar or honey: As desired Wash the fruits and in a blender add & run all the ingredients till it becomes smooth. Strain it in a mesh strainer adding chill water as required. Fill glasses and serve with lemon rings. Please visit Nap On The Porch Please visit pink Saturday  Please visit Charm...
