French Inspired Table for Chritsmas:)))

 CG projects...Christmas looks...2021

It is beautiful time of the year around the world & time to open our hearts to welcome Jesus Christ in simplicity and humility. He is the image of  God's love to humankind.

This is also a time to get ready with beautiful external decorations at home, making delicious eateries, singing of carols, Santa's visit,  to do charity and help someone in need...all this hallmark of the Christmas celebration. The season has began and gives joy to many by indulging in various things. When it comes to decors for the season let the external decors show the internal decoration of one's own heart.

Putting up decor accessories already started for the holiday season and what is your theme idea for setting a table for 25th December. The Christmas table looks could be Rustic glow, a touch of nostalgia, deco glamour, French style, Scandi vintage, Nordic natural, coastal theme or snowy white winter scapes and the list goes on. Each setting has it's own charm in creating a serene festive theme.

To begin with I decided to do a French table for the season which could inspire. French decors are simple, elegant & lovable. I picked few juniper and Australian eucalyptus stems from the garden and spread few potpourri leaves along the leaves for a simple look in the center. A tiny glass Eiffel tower matched the setting as well. Hues of white along with green and with little touches of red looked elegant. Wonderful to add  lace napkins as it gives a stylish look to the setting.

Look forward for Christmas looks at CG in the coming weeks.

200th post at Crystal Grandeur!

This is my 200th post at Crystal Grandeur!  As a profound blogger it is a moment of joy for me as well.   It has been a wonderful journey all along.  Crystal Grandeur blossomed in November 2011 with Diwali & Christmas decors and it is my small world where my imagination and creations comes to reality.  I admire some of the blogs crossing 400+ posts. I appreciate and thank them for influencing others to do the same.  Speaking of my love for decors and styling I enjoy exploring different aesthetics and incorporate them in my decors and tablescapes. It helps me to keep moving forward  with new and fresh ideas  and doesn't let me be stagnant to one particular style.    For a nostalgia kick i share with you all... my delightful moments at Crystal Grandeur. Receiving appreciation for your creation in the form of comments always touches ones heart. (Sharing some of my past posts sweet comments posted by dear readers from across...

Festive Give Away:)))

Season Fall is to arrive soon and the season has its own charm in providing us with plenty of seasonal specials. Oranges are best during Fall and they last from beginning of Fall to end of Winter. In our garden plenty of Calamondin oranges started to appear and the fresh smell of the citrus in the air so soothing.  Plucked few of them and made marmalade from the ripen oranges for the morning toast. Also a good idea to make marmalade when the oranges are plenty, fill them in cute little bottles, tie with a ribbon/card and gift it when there is a Fall party or for Thanks giving & festive occasions. Its easy and quick to make and my way of preparing the recipe is given right here.  Cut the calamondin orange to half, remove the pulp and the skin separately. While removing the pulp take away the seeds. Squeeze out the juice from the pulp using a thin cloth . Cut the skin to thin stripes.  Put a heavy bottom pan on the stove and keep on low flame. (For one glass of ju...
