Summer Farewell Table...:):)

Setting a summer table for Kathleen's challenge with touches of summer palettes and elements for one last time, before the regimens of fall and winter days takes our focus, was fun.The colours Green, yellow, off whites with birds and bunnies on the table let us savour the memory of long summer days slipping into the shorter days of fall.Placing few yellow Daises in the pitcher gave the entire table a brighter look.Fried potatoes looked apt for an evening summer gathering.

  8. It is a perfect blend for summer and fall coming! How adorable your little bunnies are on the table - not so cute eating up the produce, but luckily we only have racoons who do that!!
    Have a wonderful Labor Day.

  9. Every morning and every evening all summer I get to watch the bunnies romp across the back yard. Each year there are baby bunnies following close behind the parent rabbits. Your table captures that wonderful part of summer. The plates and the flowers are beautiful especially with the candle light illuminating them. The napkins look so sweet tied and placed on the plates with the bird and bunny decor. I love it!

Diwali With Lights

The word Deepavali stems from the Sanskrit words, Deepa meaning ‘Light’ and Avali meaning ‘Row’. It means a row of lights and illumination is undoubtedly its main attraction. Deepavali, the festival of lights, even to this day, projects the rich and glorious past of our country and teaches us to uphold the true values of life.    THE FLICKERING LIGHT OF A FLAME IS TRULY MAGICAL. Shades of Green

This is September, and the month offers its own fresh start to many things. Here in India, it is the beginning of festivities and celebrations for the next few coming weeks. These are the days of showers too, and it is truly refreshing & soothing to see the plants and trees after every brief shower. The moist leaves give us an impression that they are happy and smiling and breathing a 'Thank You' for the fresh green look. I love the colour green and as we all know it is one of Mother Natures primary colours. The green stem is honoured and credited to hold every flower of different colours. That's awesome. Inspiration comes from every where and the colour green inspired me to do a scape, with the green touch. I collected the green ware from the racks and putting it together as a teascape was pleasing to the eyes like the happy greenery around us. Sometimes it is wonderful to have tea and treat ourselves amongst a small collection of green plants. M
