The lightness of Summer... Yogurt dip:)


Everything gone Green here. The color of Spring is greeting us. Raita the cool dish prepared in yogurt well known to everyone. Adding different cut veggies  to the yogurt and seasoning it with mustard or other spices are enjoyed thoroughly with any kind of food preparation. A simple easy to prepare raita for you straight from my kitchen. 

For the raita, peel and deseed the cucumber, halve it lengthwise and coarsely grate it. Mix it with yogurt. In a small pan heat little oil and put in half a teaspoon of mustard seeds and few curry leaves. When it splatter add it to the yogurt. 

Enjoy your Spring/Summer time with coolants that you would love to prepare in your kitchen.
