An Earthy Tone Fall Table

A warm, cosy, earthy tone for a fall table matching the season. I used the pine-cones and maize stalks for the centre piece. The frilled green leaves looked pretty with the stem-ware. Using the checked table linen and napkins gave a earthy tone to the setting. Happy fall to everyone.

  2. Hi there, Sujatha!!! Happy Fall to you, too! It is finally feeling like fall here with temperatures nice and cool. It's a nice change from the sweltering heat we've had for the last couple of weeks.

I like the way you incorporated so many natural elements into your table setting. It really does bring the feeling of fall to mind! The colors are right in line with this time of year, too. I know you must have worked long and hard on putting this together!

    Have a wonderful weekend!!!

Shades of Green

This is September, and the month offers its own fresh start to many things. Here in India, it is the beginning of festivities and celebrations for the next few coming weeks. These are the days of showers too, and it is truly refreshing & soothing to see the plants and trees after every brief shower. The moist leaves give us an impression that they are happy and smiling and breathing a 'Thank You' for the fresh green look. I love the colour green and as we all know it is one of Mother Natures primary colours. The green stem is honoured and credited to hold every flower of different colours. That's awesome. Inspiration comes from every where and the colour green inspired me to do a scape, with the green touch. I collected the green ware from the racks and putting it together as a teascape was pleasing to the eyes like the happy greenery around us. Sometimes it is wonderful to have tea and treat ourselves amongst a small collection of green plants. M...

Coffee in the Bedroom

The bedroom, the place where we spend one-third of our life, is a special place indeed and it holds all the beautiful possibilities that we wake up to early in the morning. Enjoying coffee in bed along with reading the newspaper is something one looks forward to & it is a wonderful feeling after a hard days work too. Like many I love the smell and taste of coffee made from a Peculator, and it is also easy and quick to prepare coffee with. Having coffee in bed, along with breakfast on a Sunday morning makes you feel fresh, something that every heart would wish for. Presenting a coffee scape from my bedroom on an early Sunday morning & enjoy your cuppa. Please do visit Cusine Kathleen Please do visit A Delightsome LIfe
